Jan Raubenheimer
Mobile 0438 500 819 Jan originally attained his Process Control and Electrical Certificates in the early 1990's and commenced in the defence and petroleum industries. He has continued to update his qualifications in line with industry changes and enhanced his career by attaining Management / Administration skills and qualifications. Originally from South Africa, Jan joined MPR Services in early 2006 and has since developed most of our Bowen Basin and Queensland operations now in excess of some 75 personnel in the region. Jan has had considerable exposure in the mining and processing industry within South Africa and Australia in planning and supervisory roles where his hands on experience is used to resolve Process Control faults, optimise plant performance and maintain machine integrity, create and manage budgets and managing the maintenance crew of Fitters, Electricians, Boiler Makers, Instrumentation Fitters and Contractors. Jan has had to undertake considerable travel since arriving in Australia particularly in his role as Sales Manager. All process Control / Electrical queries for our company should be directed to Jan. Jan has the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel within a corporation, work as in integral team member with a desire to continually improve his people management skills. This teamwork is demonstrated by the result of achieving Large Business of the year award for Emerald in 2007. Jan is married with 2 young children and spends leisure time clay target shooting, fishing, water skiing, motorbike riding or woodworking. |

Mick McKenzie
Mobile 0407 677 004 Mick has been involved in the Mining and Metallurgy industry in excess of twenty years predominantly on Computing and Plant Engineering matters. This has included considerable exposure to capital and operating budget managements while with WMC ODO Engineering Department (Project and Maintenance Scheduling). > When the opportunity arose to join WMC on the Olympic Dam Expansion Project Mick accepted responsibility as the database coordinator with ongoing involvement in the deployment of SAP to WMC operations.
Mick has enjoyed a great variety of hands-on and technical positions with particular emphasis on shutdown and project work. He has travelled extensively over the last few years in order to resolve clients' technical issues and now works a combination of site and office positions. Johannes P Beneke
SAP Maintenance System Specialist and Gladstone Area Coordinator JP.Beneke@mprs.com.au JP started off a career in Maintenance as a Mechanical Fitter at the Sasol Groups Chemical division 21 years ago. After 11 years performing a variety of roles for Sasol, in 1994 JP was promoted to the first of many SAP PM Specialist roles that would follow. Over the last 12 years JP’s skills and experience have extended via a string of highly regarded roles in both South Africa and Australia such as; Engineering Planner, SAP R3 Specialist, Business Model Trainer, Business Analyst, SAP Implementation Project Leader & SAP Development Planner. JP’s professionalism combined with a knowledge base built from carrying out the various Engineering & Maintenance duties such as; Preparation of $40 million dollar maintenance budgets, Planning & Coordinating Shutdowns, Supervising up to 35 personnel on Engineering Projects, leading cost reduction programs for various discipline maintenance work centres (E/I, Mech & Civil) and taking the lead role in 4 SAP implementations over a 5 year period, allows JP to be widely conversant with our clients on a number of levels. He spends most of his time these days helping our clients explore possibilities and discover potential within their particular version of SAP as well as providing training & technical assistance with various planning orientated tasks. JP has completed a multitude of training courses over the years ranging from the Mechanical Trade qualifications, Rigging, Engineering Planning, Supervision, RCM and Maintenance Management to almost a full spectrum of the SAP r3 courses available. He is happily married with 2 children and looks forward to enjoying any spare time with his family. Jerry Tatchell
Services Superintendent - SA Operations
Jerry.Tatchell@mprs.com.au Jerry has been at Olympic Dam since the early eighties and occasionally threatens to leave to live in a place with grass huts, nice beaches & cold beer. He is a Master Plumber and Gasfitter, registered RPZ inspector and pump & valve specialist. He completed his plumbing trade in the early seventies but continues to upgrade his skill set with regular post trade courses being undertaken. Other qualifications include Crane / Backhoe / Forklift / Excavator Operator Jerry has extensive field and technical knowledge of the Olympic Dam Process Plant and Mine and Great Artesian Basin surrounds. Personnel Manager & Business Development Mark.Langdon@mprs.com.au Mark is based at MPR Services Sydney office and predominantly looks after recruitment and sales in the Hunter Valley, Southern Queensland and South Australian markets. Starting his career in 1984 as a motor mechanic in Sydney. Mark progressed through to Foreman, Service Advisor and Service Manager working for such companies as Jaguar, Peugeot and Toyota. A move to Tannum Sands in Queensland near the industrial town of Gladstone; lead to a career change into the access equipment hire industry. With his hands on approach as Sales Manger, Mark secured contracts for the supply of access equipment for the construction of a number of major projects such as the Hail Creek and Dawson Mine site expansions, Paradise Dam and Kogan Creek Power Station in central QLD. The Comalco Aluminium Refinery, Orica & GPA port expansions in Gladstone as well as equipment for on going maintenance and shut down work at QAL, BSL, CAR, NRG, Cement Australia and many Bowen Basin mines. Marks industry experience and people skills have now lead him to the position of Personnel Manager and Business Development for MPRS working throughout Australia. Mark is happily married with a one daughter and enjoys golf, new challenges and time out with his family.
Karl Sklenars
SAP Specialist - Maintenance Planning Facilitator. Karl.Sklenars@mprs.com.au Karl started out as a pump and filtration specialist working in Australia and China. From this he developed an understanding of the importance of RCM and a passion for the technology that drives this. Currently Karl is contracted to BHP in the Bowen Basin where he is facilitating optimisation of plant maintenance strategies. In line with PMO2000 and SAP PM and MM functionality. Karl has previously managed teams of technical writers and SAP specialists during expansions and has also been instrumental in overseeing large scale documentation processes. Karl is married with 4 young children, and loves to sail.
